Haldimand Township Census 1808
Enumerated 11 April 1808
Images of a given census record usually overlap to insure that no households are left out. However, the first two images of this census record do not overlap. The names at the edges of each image are partially cut off and it is impossible to determine whether there are some households that were never captured at all.
* The totals don’t agree with the persons enumerated for Charles Tripp and Lemuel Bradlee.
** This individual is partially cut off at the bottom of one of the images. The first name cannot be deciphered.
*** This individual is partially cut off at the top of one of the images. Caleb is probable, Coone definite, but the numbers are questionable (only the bottoms show).
**** This person is almost completely cut off at the top of one of the images. Only as first name of David can be guessed at.
Note: Names that appear in the 1808 Assessment that are missing from the 1808 Census include: Ranna C. Pering and Paddock Winter.
