Receive of Samuel Street Esquire Acting Deputy Pay Master General of Militia, by the hand of Mr. Robert Richardson Pay Master of militia, at Kingston, the sum of six pounds, eighteen shillings seven pence army pay, being the amount of my net pay from the fourteenth, January to the twenty-eight, January 1814, for duty done in escorting American prisoners of war from the District of Newcastle to Kingston, for which I have signed triplicate receipts.
